Hello, guys

Image

Today sparks the day of the official opening of bookings for LEA Virtuals 'Alpes Operation' event. This event will have us departing our Hub at London Luton toward the small mountainous village at Chambery. BEWARE: The next leg is difficult.. At Chambery, you will have to choose an aircraft no bigger than a Beechcraft King Air 350 for 170nm journey to the mountainous airport of Courchevel. Courchevel is an airport located high up in the French Alps at an altitiude of 6,588 feet. The runway legth is only 1722feet (525m) and has a staggering gradient of 18.5%. Are you ready to bear the force of the Winter Alps? Do you have what it takes to land in potentially blizzardous conditions, on a small runway and with several other aircraft in the vicinity. If yes, feel free to tag along. We are hoping to have full ATC from departure in London all the way to ensure your safe arrival in Courchevel. There is a chance to win a free download of any UK2000 Extreme Scenery for one lucky London Executive Aviation Virtual pilot. Pilots who wish to be entered into the draw MUST be an active member of the virtual airline and must take part in both legs (from Luton to Chambery and onwards to Couchevel).

Cordialement
