Another "Busy Day" from vACC Ukraine is calling! This time airport L'viv has been chosen to make that day not only busy for the ATC staff, but difficult for pilots who will have to struggle some changes that were recently implemented into airport services. Between now and 2012 L'viv airport is undergo a significant expansion project in preparation of ‘Euro 2012’, which will include a 700-meter runway extension and a new passenger terminal able to handle up to 1,220 passengers per hour. Take off and landing restrictions have already applied and available runway length was reduced from 2,510 to 1,613 meters. Also, there are no ILS approaches, but VOR and NDB for that period of time. New L'viv scenery reflects all of the changes, so make sure to download and install it before your flight. There are both FS9 and FSX scenery available.
