The Czech VATSIM community commemorates the sad October 2010, when our founding member Pavel Svoboda suddenly passed away. On 12 October 2010, we lost the most passionate VACC-CZ staff member, tireless mentor, patient event coordinator, unforgettable virtual aviation promoter, and mostly our great real-life friend.
Let us invite you to participate in the traditional memorial Runway to Heaven on 10th October 2015 16-21 UTC at LKPR, LKKV and EDDH.

You can simply participate if you insert "Pavel Svoboda memorial flight" to remarks in your flightplan. For those, who want to express memory of Pavel, you can depart from Prague Ruzyne (LKPR) or Hamburg (EDDH) proceed to Karlovy Vary (LKKV), make low-pass or touch-and-go procedure on active runway, because of low capacity of apron in Karlovy Vary, and continue to Hamburg, Prague or another destination.
Our ATC team will be physically present in a room near the Pavel's home in Karlovy Vary providing ATC service at LKPR, LKKV and LKAA from there.
We are looking forward to seeing you online and we hope to break the record in number of movements at virtual LKKV from previous years which this event definitely deserves!
